Important Information for
All Polar Bear Dinner Guests

 

Just a few details we want you to know.
  • The doors to the Edmonds Yacht Club will open at 5:30pm. Raffle ticket sales and Silent Auction bidding will be available at that time.
  •  The BAR will open at 6:00pm (NOT BEFORE).
  •  Dinner will be served around 6:30pm.
  • There will be three different club fundraiser events taking place throughout the evening: a Silent Auction; a Lucky Number Raffle for individual items; and a 50/50 Cash Drawing Raffle.
  •  Silent auction sign up sheets will be placed with each of the auction items.
    • Follow the directions and sign your name legibly by the dollar amount you are willing to spend.
    •  Another name below you outbids you, and you are encouraged to return to revisit and up your bid by outbidding those above you.
    •  The final winner can settle their bid by cash, or check payable to KCYC, or by making arrangements to pay later. The Auction Coordinator and the Treasurer will find you!
  • Tickets for the raffle items will be available for purchase in denominations of $1, $10, $20, etc.
    • Members may charge it to their membership account if they have a credit card on file;or pay cash.
    • Nonmembers will need to pay cash or ask their host member to pay by credit card.
    • Winners must present their ticket to claim the prize, or another ticket will be drawn.
  • Both the Auction and the Lucky Number Raffle will have items closing and winners announced or drawn at unpredictable times during the evening, so don't delay getting your bids or tickets in!
  • Tickets for the 50/50 drawing will be by CASH ONLY. One winning ticket will be drawn; half of the pot goes to the winner (must be present to win) and half goes to the Club Benefit Fundraiser.
  • Due to a lack of volunteer signups, all guests will be asked to kindly participate in cleaning the club sometime after dinner.

and be ready for a fun night of amazing food, friends, and shenanigans!
