2021 KCYC Nominations
The 2021 Nominating Committee consisted of Lynn Colton, Alan Kester, Kathy Satre and Ken Dalgleish as chair. As defined in the Bylaws the Nominating Committee requested candidate names by publications in the Bosun’s Pipe , as well as email and direct contact with potential nominees.
The NC evaluated potential candidates against the requirements in the Bylaws; discussed with each the expected role for each office; and then determined compliance with the requirements for the position.
The list for the open positions is:
- COMMODORE: KIM CLARK
- VICE COMMODORE: JERRY ANDREWS
- REAR COMMODORE: GREG COLT
- FLEET CAPTAIN: WALTER VIRECK
- TREASURER: JOHN GANTZ
- SECRETARY: KAREN WAITE
- TRUSTEE (2 YR.): STAN MACK
- Chuck Turner will continue in his 2nd year as Trustee and Sandi Dalgleish will be our immediate Past Commodore.
The Bylaws allow for additional nominations from the floor prior to officer elections at the September General Meeting. The Nominating Committee sincerely thanks the listed candidates for willingness to serve on the KCYC Board of Trustees. The KCYC membership responsibility is to select the next set of officers by a simple majority of members at the September meeting. See you there!
