Cathleen and Dean are from Hansville and discovered KCYC while in the ferry line. They have just purchased a Macgregor 26" sailboat and have been sailing for 15 years and enjoyed sailing the most in Hawaii! Dean is retired Navy as a federal manager and Cathleen as a now retired financial counselor. They look forward to being more active in the community, learn about local sailing conditions, and participating in the club activities and cruises. They spend their free time, besides boating, on grandkids, native plants and local trail hikes. The two are active in the community with engagement in the General Federation of Women's Clubs-Kitsap Peninsula chapter, the Navy League and the Central Kitsap Sailing Foundation.
