Safe Summer Fun —Covid Update

Must Read Covid 19 Update - Safe Summer Fun at KCYC

We have enjoyed Friday nights at the club under the guidance from state, health and county agencies.  As early as March great care was taken to adjust the indoor and outdoor seating, traffic flow, mask requirements, distancing, and service to ensure we were providing a compliant and safe environment for our members.

As many of us are aware, the state’s requirements for operating our club have again evolved with some additional guidance from the agencies.  Just as we have complied to date, our club will comply with the additional guidance.  This includes the continued restriction for five people per table (must be members of the same household for inside seating), facial coverings when not seated, traffic flow compliance, signage, and sanitization protocols.

To ensure we have it right, we are going to CLOSE THE CLUB UNTIL AUGUST 7.  Over the next 10 days, KCYC will provide you with actions, information, and expectations on how to be safe at the Club. We will be sending you a sequence of communications to ensure everyone understands the adjustments and your responsibilities.  We encourage everyone to watch for these emails and to ask questions.

When we reopen, we will feature a rotating Friday night food option available to be served at your table. Examples of this may include but are not limited to cheeseburgers, chili dogs, fish sandwich, chicken sandwich, tamales, lasagna, etc.  Of course, your input is welcome.

We look forward to seeing you at KCYC in August. We will continue to have all of the procedures, tools, and documentation in place to operate as a Phase 2 compliant social club we all desperately need right now.  With your support we will be a success.
