Finding Humor During the Quarantine

 The Quarantine Blues
Despite the seriousness of a situation it may evoke some reactions which could be deemed as comical or laughhable or more accurately defined as HUMOR. My neighbor, Murkey Muldoon said his wife received a citation for indecent exposure. Seems she was shopping at Albertsons completely unclad. She claimed innocence stating the sign said she only had to wear a mask. A rule is a rule. She was released.
Our house cleaner was due tomorrow and she called to say she couldn't make it since she could only work at home. I asked her how she could help us and she said she would call around noon with instructions on starting the vacuum, turning on hot water and the location of dust rags.
I told my son I needed toilet paper. He said I shouldn't be in a crowd shopping and  he said he'd send me some. Several days later a large heavy box arrived via Amazon. The box was marked Raw Toilet Paper. I anxiously opened the box and found three large logs inside and a note which said "Some Assembly Required". But I kept away from the crowd.
Gasoline is so cheap but there's no place to go. We decided to take a trip. Now here is where the imagination must take over. We packed our suit cases and road maps. Our street is about one quarter of a mile long and we logged approximately 200 miles the first day. Since we were home every night we went to bed early and disscuss the days events.
It appears as though India has been hit hard with the virus. I've been getting fewer and fewer calls reminding me my auto warranty policy has expired.
One question. For a country so advanced we're about to land on Mars, seems we spend lots of time teaching the populace how to wash their hands.
