Happy New Year! What an amazing Speakeasy New Year’s party. Many thanks to Beth Nelson and her family for a great entry into KCYC’s 2020. As Beth steps down from a successful social contribution to the club to focus on her family, please join me in expressing our gratitude for the many great memories we were provided in this past year.

Shelley Gantz has accepted the position of Social Director for KCYC 2020!  Under Shelley’s leadership and supported by her husband John Gantz as well as our many great contributors, this will prove to be another exciting and fun filled year.

At our upcoming January General Meeting we will be presenting the KCYC budget and the 3 year strategic plan for approval. Thanks to the hard work of many previous boards, we have a very stable base and are in a great position to launch into this exciting year. Membership growth, KCYC long range vision, 2020 facility renewal, exciting cruise and social schedules and expanded community involvement are but a few of the fun opportunities on the horizon.

Our guest speaker will be Greg Englin, Executive Director of the Port of Kingston. Greg will be discussing the focus of the Port for this coming year. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet and interact with Greg.

Lastly, a heart filled thanks to the many volunteers that have made KCYC such a success in 2019. Your many contributions have made a big difference. Opportunities to make a difference in 2020 abound. Just contact any club board member and we will be happy to connect your energy with opportunity.
