As you can tell from the website calendar there are plenty of social events scheduled for the short term – line dancing this month on the 31st , the Academy Awards on February 9th, Whiskey Tasting and Saint Patty’s Day on March 9th and 13th respectively. For that matter, since many of you will be going over without boats, you might also consider the Polar Bear Cruise at least a partially land-based event.
And this doesn’t even count Seahawks playoff games!

Beyond that, we are in still in the planning phase, looking for the right dates for traditional events, like the Ladies Luncheon and cementing plans and responsibilities for July 4th, and considering various other potential events from a country music hoe-down, a steak-and-bake, solstice party, second annual pic roast and more.

This planning will begin with a brainstorming session on January 14th where we have tapped a subset of the board to give us guidance and well-earned wisdom as we firm up the rest of the 2020 social calendar.  In the meantime, we are still building out the social events committee – the group that will help plan events, recruit volunteers, and perhaps even organize some events.
