If you had a family membership and paid your dues from this last June through December of this year, you should have gotten a reminder notice that your dues need to be paid for this coming year, covering your membership from January 1st to December 31st of 2020. If yes, that’s great! If not, well, maybe someone else in your family received the reminder.

In the membership database maintained in our new website for family memberships, there is one person designated as a “Primary” member, with the other person(s) in your membership account identified as family members. To cut down on duplicate communications, some emails sent from our website only go to the primary member, which is the case for dues reminders.

We can change who should receive dues reminders, registration confirmations for events and other types of notices by knowing who in the family always checks their emails. Just let us know, and we’ll change the settings.




In the past, there has always been an announcement for who renews first each year, sort of a competition. With the changes we’ve made to our fiscal year for dues and other aspects of the Club, going forward that tradition will not really work any longer. But we would most certainly like to acknowledge renewing members for their continuing support. So I will be publishing a report for how many did renew during November and again in December. I would like suggestions as to how to recognize the first, and for that matter, every member that renews on or before the first of the year. Just drop me a note with your ideas.

Remember you can now choose monthly installments for your dues payments processed through a credit card you can enter on your profile page. There is no additional service charge for this, and all of your information is completely secure and private, no one can access it except you.
