Kingston Opening Day Parade & Festivities


The Kingston Opening Day will be held the second weekend in May.  It is a long standing tradition celebrating the fleet getting ready for the cruising  season.  There will be a blessing of the fleet and a christening of new boats.  We will follow up with a boat parade and a Commodore salute. The boats will be on the guest dock for the activities.  Boaters need to RSVP here for parade and dock space or send Steve Page an email at srpage653@gmail.com

Schedule for the Day's Activities
  • 11-12:30. Move boats to Guest Dock
  • 1:00 National Anthem
  • 1:10  Blessing of the Fleet
  • 1:30  Boats assemble for parade
  • 3:30 Commodore salute and return to docks
  • 5:00 Bar Open
  • 6:00 Prime Rib Dinner. Separate registration required.
