2025 KCYC Officer Nominations
The 2025 Nomination Committee consists of Chery Callais, Julie Turner, and Steve Page with Rita Osborn as the Chair. As defined in the Bylaws, the Nominating Committee requested candidate names by publications in the Bosun’s Pipe, as well as via email and direct contact with potential nominees.
The Nominating Committee evaluated potential candidates against the requirements in the Bylaws, discussed with each candidate the expectations for each office and determined compliance with the requirements for each position.
Pursuant to the Bylaws revised and adopted in 2024, Article VI , Number 7. Special Committees: A. 5th paragraph, additional candidates may be submitted before the final Bosun’s Pipe publication by August 31. There have been no additional candidates submitted.

CHUCK TURNER will serve as immediate Past Commodore. JACK LOTT will continue in his second year as Trustee.
As stated in the August 24 email, the window for nominations is closed as of August 31. The KCYC membership responsibility is to select the next set of officers by a simple majority of members at the September meeting.
